Nominations have been released for the 2012 The TJ Smith, which is due to run at Eagle Farm Racecourse on June 9, 2012.

109 two-year-old have been nominated for the race, including Sizzling.

Sizzling has won one of his four race starts and has earned more than $132,000 in prize money.

The Snitzel colt won his first-up start at Eagle farm before finishing a close second in both the Listed Phelan Ready Stakes and the Group 3 BJ McLachlan Stakes last year.

Sizzling then went on to finish a gallant fourth in the $2 million Magic Millions 2YO Classic at the Gold Coast on January 14, 2012.

The two-year-old is trained at Eagle Farm by Kelso Wood.

Anthony Freedman’s Chosen Moment is also one of the nominations for the 2012 The TJ Smith.

Chosen Moment has won one of his four race starts and has earned more than $65,000 in prize money.

The Choisir colt finished an impressive second in the Group 3 SA Sires’ Produce Stakes at Morphettville Parks racecourse on April 21, 2012, and will be looking to outdo that performance in the 2012 The TJ Smith.

Coyote Miss, Discreet, and Sookie are also included in the 2012 The TJ Smith nominations.
